Chic Remote-Stashing Urn

TVs and digital gadgets mean lots of remotes hanging around. This morning we brought you Domino's Guide to the Best TV for Every Room; there is one other tip we wanted to share with you from their special mini guide:

Use a decorative silver urn to stash the remotes in when not in use. It can decorate a nearby shelf, and be useful as well--"keeping your remotes on the coffee table can be a little Al Bundy."

eBay has a selection, though it could also be something to keep your eye out for at vintage shops as well. Now we're off to go bid on the silver urn we've featured here. Don't outbid us too much!

I definitely thought that said "Remote-SMASHING Urn", which changed the whole tone of the article for me at first.

Make sure it hasn't been used to store someone's ashes.

I use a ceramic urn to store some little things like the guitar hero strap, mini dvi adapter, etc. but whole remotes...i think that's what the couch crease is for.
