We love Ikea hacks and a hack that helps hold your gizmos is a mega plus. Looking for a small entertainment center, and Ikea Hacker reader discovered that if she put two Malm bedside tables together she could perfectly fit her flatscreen on it and her A/V components below it's floating drawer...
The "Siamese Malm" as the reader calls it, has both furniture pieces bolted into the wall behind it. The bolts were driven in behind the drawers, so that when the drawers were placed back into their slots they hide the hardware.
A bracket was also added to the top to keep the two pieces from separating from the TV's weight.
We don't see the Malm offered in white, so we're guessing the reader also painted the units. We love, love, love the fake grass on the floating shelf.

the Malm used to be offered in white. I think the discontinued it maybe?
Still, pretty unique idea. How does it stand up? the Malm bedside table only has one long "leg" in the back. On its own, it would just tip forward.... Its usually supported by the bed it attaches to
