iPod and iPhone Alarm Clock Dock
The CVT i3101 is a media center type alarm clock, slim enough to hang on the wall next to your bed. It's nice and narrow if you don't have a table next to your bed. The clock itself has a bright 3.5" blue LED display and ergonomically designed touch controls to change channels and controlling the media player.
Once the iPod or iPhone is undocked, the alarm clock can continue playing radio or any music saved on an SD memory card. If you still have space on your nightstand or table, the clock comes with a kickstand. The clock's Hong Kong manufacturer is working on another version with an LCD video screen, which isn't yet available. The above version is available from 100milligrams for $99.95.

Has anyone used this product? I'm wondering how it works with the iPhone, since a lot of radios make the iPhone emit those high-pitched frequency noises. I've heard the iHome alarm clock has something that prevents this from happening (without relying on airplane mode). Does this one have something similar?

The LCD video screen version will be like the ultimate alarm clock of the future when they release it. I’m considering getting this to go with my iPod Touch since I struggle to have a decent place to put it at night in my small apartment. Although $99 does seem a bit much for what you are getting which is basically a radio/mp3 alarm clock. Hopefully it will get a bit cheaper, if not I will wait for the LCD version because that will be awesome!
