Apple's Mobile Me

2008_06_10 mobileme.jpgSure, there was this new iPhone unveiled just yesterday but what really caught my eye is this idea of mobile me. Do you have more than one computer in your house? If you have an iPhone or iPod touch then it is pretty much guaranteed that you do.

For anyone out there that is familiar with .mac, mobile me is the new version..but better. What it does for you is make sure that all the stuff you have on your various computers are always in sync. No need to manually update the contacts on your Mac and iPhone or copy pictures from one device to another to make sure you always have it with you. Mobile Me takes care of all this for you via the 'cloud', all you need is an internet connection.

Mac iPhone MobileMe!!! It's almost as if Steve Jobs has a spyware agent running in my head. Now if they could just get Apple TV right ( Apple TV 3.0?).

I want to order a movie on my iPhone while on the road and have it automatically transfered to my Mac/iTunes or Apple TV for viewing.

With iPhone 2.0 GPS I will be able to take a photo and live blog it to BirghtKite or TwitPic.

Looks like Apple's .mac service... only re-branded as 'mobile me'.

except for the name, it sounds great. I am a .Mac member who is happy about most of the changes (I'll miss the iCards), except for the ridiculous new handle.
