Does anyone have any experience here? Are these more reliable now and specifically for US phones? I loved the couple I brought back from Tokyo (much cuter) a couple years ago but they would sometimes randomly flash on their own and usually gave up altogether within a few weeks.

They are a good idea in theory. I always miss calls when my phone is in my purse, so I got a little Nokia that does it's own light show. Even if I use an open bag, it doesn't really help me know that I have a call, but it does help me find the phone in a huge bag or dark bar.
